A student in Walker reported that someone had used his phone card
without authorization to make approximately $135 worth of calls.
Officers identified the suspect who admitted the violation. The incident
was referred to Student Development.
The local assistant district attorney elected not to prosecute in the case
of a student who used University computer resources to distribute a
letter containing a pyramid scheme. The incident will be referred to
Student Development.
An employee of the Computer Center reported that another student had
distributed a letter which contained a pyramid scheme. Officers
identified the student who admitted responsibility. The incident is

Officers assisted students who were stuck in an elevator in Scott at
7:10 a. m. on 4/17.
Jackson County deputies reported that they had found some stolen signs
in the possession of a WCU student at 10:30 a. m. on 4/17.
A student reported that she was being harassed by her former
boyfriend at 11:15 a. m. on 4/17.
A student reported that her car was keyed while it was parked in the
Field House lot between 4/12 and 4/17.
Officers arrested a male student on charges of assault on a female in
connection with an incident reported last week. The assault was
apparently in retaliation for damage done to his car by the female.
Officers responded to a fire alarm on the 3rd floor of Albright at 11:58
p. m. on 4/17 caused by an activated pull station.
Officers charged a female student with underage possession of alcohol
at 12:08 a. m. in Albright on 4/18.
Officers cited a female student for operating an overcrowded vehicle at
1:54 a. m. on 4/18.
Officers responded to a fire alarm at NCCAT at 8:02 a. m. on 4/18. The
cause is unknown.
Officers cited a male student for underage possession of alcohol at
12:08 a. m. on 4/19.
Officers cited a male student for a stop sign violation and an expired
inspection receipt at 12:56 a. m. on 4/19.
Officers arrested a female non-student for DWI and speeding at 2:50
a. m. on 4/19.
Officers cited a male student for displaying an expired license plate and
an expired inspection receipt at 3:24 a. m. on 4/19.
Officers noticed a suspicious vehicle in the Walker A lot, stopped it and
identified the drivers for future investigation at 1:15 a. m. on 4/20.
