A student reported a hit & run accident in the lower UC lot at 11:18 a. m.
and provided a license number on the suspect vehicle. Officers
identified the vehicle and the operator and charged the female student
with hit & run at 11:30 a. m.
Officers assisted with a domestic dispute and an emotionally distraught
student in Leatherwood at 5:55 p. m.
A student reported that someone had broken into his car and stolen
stereo equipment between 1:00 a. m. and 1:00 p. m.
Housing staff reported the odor of incense coming from a room on the
7th floor of Walker at 7:09 p. m. The residents of the room were not
there when officers arrived.
Officers provided security for the Greek Week talent show at the UC at
7:00 p. m.
Officers assisted an investigator from the Spindale police department in
locating a student who had been involved in an accident in Spindale. The
student was located and an interview was conducted in Helder at 8:45
p. m.
Officers responded to a report of a suspicious male outside Reynolds at
2:00 a. m. The suspect was located and officers found that he had
dropped a ball and was looking for it under cars.
