INCIDENTS

Officers investigated a report of a suspicious male non-student who had
been living in Walker on 4/14.

At the request of a faculty member, officers checked on a student who
had not shown up for her internship assignment. Officers located the
student and found that everything was alright.

Staff in Stillwell reported threats which were made by a female to a male
in Room 101 at 9:00 a.m.

An employee of the library reported a car alarm in the Baptist Church lot
at 9:29 a. m.

A student reported that someone had knocked over his motorcycle and
damaged it at Harrill between 10:00 p. m. and 6:50 a. m.

Officers investigated a traffic accident at Centennial and Central at 1:05
p. m.

A student who had reported $580 worth of jewelry stolen from her room
in last week, reported that she had found the property.

Officers found a stop sign which had been knocked down at the Walker
A Lot at 10:05 a. m.

An employee reported that a window had been broken at Dodson at
12:50 p. m. A male student admitted that he caused the damage. The
incident is referred to Student Development.

A student reported that someone had broken into his room on the first
floor of Leatherwood through a window and stolen a big screen
television, medicine, and soap all valued at $624. The investigation is
continuing.

Housing staff reported that fireworks were being dropped from Walker
Hall at 5:20 p. m.

Officers responded to Reynolds at 5:25 p. m. for a fire alarm which was
caused by smoke from a grill outside.

Officers responded to an activated call box at Hunter Library at 6:28 p.
m. There was no one in the area.

Officers assisted WCU EMS with a student who had fainted in McKee at
6:30 p.m.

Officers assisted people who were stuck in an elevator in Hunter Library
at 11:05 p. m.

Officers responded to a fire alarm at Leatherwood caused by trouble in
the system at 11:45 p. m.

Officers heard a loud party on the ninth floor of Harrill from the parking lot
at the rear of Harrill at 12:55 a. m. They found a large number of people
on the floor and a large quantity of alcohol. The incident was referred to
Housing.

Officers responded to a report of an explosive device (similar to a
Molotov cocktail) which had been dropped from Walker at 1:15 a. m. No
damage occurred. The investigation is continuing.

Officers found an intoxicated student walking in on Centennial Drive and
transported him to Albright at 2:55 a. m.

Officers arrested a female student for DWI and a provisional licensee
violation at 3:30 a. m. Intoxilyzer results were .11%

None
