INCIDENTS

Officers responded to an alarm at a residence on Young Drive at 7:45 p.
m. on 6/19.

Officers responded to an alarm in Bird at 11:20 p. m. on 6/19 which was
detected by a student worker.

Officers removed four male non-students from campus after they were
found in front of Scott at 2400 on 6/19. They were trying to visit with
Orientation students.

Officers found an Orientation student who was intoxicated trying to get
into Benton Hall at 1:30 a. m. on 6/20. Officers escorted the student to
Scott where Orientation staff contacted his parents.

Orientation leaders reported two orientation students in Leatherwood at
4:00 a. m. on 6/20. Officers escorted the students back to Scott. The
WCU students involved are referred to Student Development for allowing
a visitation violation.

Officers investigated a traffic accident in the Baptist Church lot at 10:20
a. m. where a tractor-trailer tried to drive across the median and got
stuck.

Officers assisted with a dispute between two students over a stereo at
Robertson at 10:45 a. m. on 6/20. The incident was referred to Student
Development for mediation.

A member of the Library staff reported a door alarm sounding on the
loading dock at 3:42 p. m. on 6/20. Officers investigated.

A female visitor reported a broken window on the ticket booth at the
baseball stadium at 8:36 p. m. on 6/20. Officers found that entry had
been made into the ticket booth and that forced entry had occurred at the
concession stand. The investigation is continuing.

Officers assisted campers who were stuck in an elevator in Harrill at
7:30 p. m. on 6/21.

Officers responded to three fire alarms in Walker at 2:48 p. m. on 6/21,
11:25 p. m. on 6/21, and 5:08 a. m. on 6/22. All were caused by
problems in the system.

Officers responded to a fire alarm at Bird at 11:40 p. m. on 6/21.

Officers responded to a fire alarm in Killian at 12:52 a. m. on 6/22 caused
by line trouble.
