The three remaining defendants in the assault case which occurred on
March 26, 1998, in front of the University Center, appeared in court. As a
result of plea negotiations with the District Attorney, they pled guilty to a
variety of charges, including assault, assault inflicting serious injury,
communicating threats, and resisting arrest.
Officers located five students outside Leatherwood Dorm in possession
of marijuana. Charges are pending.
