INCIDENTS

A female student whose wallet and keys were stolen from Reid on 4/9
reported that her card had been used at Dodson Cafeteria. The
investigation is continuing.

A former student who lived in Walker pled guilty to theft of a sign in
District Court in Sylva and received and prosecution was deferred.

A male student pled guilty to littering and was fined $100 and court
costs.

A male non-student pled guilty to two counts of possession of marijuana.
He received a 10-day suspended sentence, one year probation, a fine of
$150 and costs of court, and he may not be on WCU property for one
year. He must also submit to search and drug screens upon the request
of his probation officer.

A male student pled guilty to possession of marijuana and was placed on
probation for one year, fined $100 and costs, and must submit to search
and drug screening at the request of his probation officer.

A male non-student pled guilty to public display of liquor at an athletic
event and underage possession. A charge of resisting arrest was
dropped as a result of a plea bargain and prayer for judgement was
continued.

Charges of assault on a female on a male student were dismissed by the
District Attorney when the victim refused to testify.

A male former student pled guilty to damage to real property in
connection with an incident of spray painting the walls in Walker Hall on
3/12. Prayer for judgement was continued on payment of costs and
restitution for the damages.

A male student pled guilty to possession of marijuana while charges of
possession of paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol were
dismissed. The student was fined $50 and costs and placed on
probation for one year.

A male student pled guilty to damaging the fire alarm system in
Leatherwood Hall in an incident that was reported on 3/24. Prayer for
judgement was continued on payment of costs and restitution.

Charges against a male student for breaking a glass in a fire alarm case
were dismissed by the District Attorney.

A male student pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and was
fined $50.00 and costs of court and placed on probation for one year.

A male student pled guilty to possession of marijuana and charges of
possession of drug paraphernalia and underage possession of alcohol
were dismissed. The student was fined $50 and cost and placed on
probation for one year.

Two students paid fines for underage drinking citations.

Officers impounded a vehicle for parking on campus after privileges
were revoked at 4:00 p. m.

Officers issued a state citation to a male student for parking in a
handicapped space at 7:19 p. m.

Officers responded to the activation of a blue light phone in the Walker A
lot at 8:28 p. m. No one was found in the area.

A male student from Walker reported that he had placed his wallet on a
ledge outside Walker to unlock his vehicle and had forgotten to pick it up
at 6:15 p. m. The wallet was missing when he returned.

Officers were informed that a fight had occurred off-campus and that
several of the people involved were on the way to Leatherwood Hall at
10:18 p. m. Officers monitored the area and no further incidents
occurred.

A police student worker reported three male students carrying road
signs near the track at 10:10 p. m. Officers identified the students,
confiscated the signs, and the investigation is continuing.

Officers witnessed an argument in progress at Central and Centennial at
2:45 a. m. Officers counseled the subjects and separated them.
