A student reported that a check was stolen from her vehicle while it was
parked near Belk on 4/16 at 3:32 p. m.
Officers assisted Housekeepers at Belk where a leaking pipe had
flooded part of the floor on 4/17 at 1:25 p. m.
Officers responded to a disturbance reported by Housing staff on the
5th floor of Walker at 3:06 a. m. on 4/18. An intoxicated female student
had been asked to leave a room and had become verbally abusive to the
staff. Officers arrived and warned the student and referred the incident
to Student Affairs for follow-up action.
A female student reported that a ring valued at approximately $1400 was
stolen from the lost and found in Reid after she left it in the gym on 4/17.
Officers responded to a report of the odor of marijuana on the ground
floor of Buchanan and charged a male student from Albright with simple
possession at 12:35 a. m. on 4/20.
As a result of a continuing investigation, officers learned that a male who
was observed crawling through a window on the ground floor of Benton
on 4/18 was a visitor who was supposed to be using the room with the
occupants permission. The investigation is continuing until the visitor is
identified.
Officers responded to a fire alarm in Leatherwood on the 3rd floor
where someone had set a piece of paper on fire on a room door at 4"05
a. m. The door was slightly damaged and a burn mark was left in the
carpet where the paper fell. Report will follow tomorrow.
