INCIDENTS

Officers impounded six vehicles for parking on campus after privileges
were revoked.

Officers responded to a fire alarm at Robertson at 7:48 a. m. caused by
a power failure.

Officers recovered a vehicle which had been stolen from Smoky
Mountain Dodge in Sylva in the Watertower lot at 8:10 a. m. The
investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to a fire alarm at Camp at 9:46 a. m caused by
system trouble.

Officers assisted people who were stuck in an elevator in Forsyth at
9:56 a. m.

A male student admitted that he had used a Cat Card reported stolen
from Reid Gym on 4/9 to purchase a meal at Brown Cafeteria. The
violation is referred to Student Affairs for disciplinary action.

A student reported that his car had been damaged while it was parked
near Benton on 4/16.

A student reported that someone had stolen his Wachovia ATM card and
used it to remove $380 from his account between 4/11 and 4/18. The
investigation is continuing.

Officers cited a male student for reckless driving after officers observed
him speeding on Catamount Road at 10:30 p. m.

Officers responded to a report of a loud party from Housing in
Leatherwood at 10:38 p. m. and again at 12:15 a. m. Several students
were referred to Housing for alcohol violation. Two students were
referred to Housing and Student Affairs for interfering with a police
officer. When officers returned at 12:15, some of the same students
were involved. The females were escorted from the building and
referred to Housing for visitation violations.

Officers assisted Jackson County deputies at Campus Apartments
where a local resident reported a fight in progress and a man with a gun
at 11:00 p. m. Officers found some WCU students involved, but the
person with the gun was not identified. One female was charged with
possession of marijuana.

Officers responded to a report of the odor of marijuana on the 5th floor
of Scott at 10:45 p. m. and cited one female student for possession of
drug paraphernalia.
