A male non-student charged with trespassing pled guilty in District Court
and was sentenced to 15 days in jail. That sentence was suspended on
payment of a $75.00 fine and court costs.
A male non-student charged with several crimes stemming from a fight
which followed a WCW wrestling match on campus this spring agreed to
pay the victim for damages to the victim's vehicle. Charges will be
dismissed if the damages are paid before July 27.
Officers assisted the staff from Upward Bound with an investigation of
an improper e-mail message sent to one of the campers at 11:00 a. m.
The suspect was found to be another camper who admitted to sending
the message. The incident was referred to Upward Bound counselors.
Officers assisted staff from Upward Bound with the investigation of a
theft of a wallet in Harrill at 12:30 a. m. The wallet was and contents
was found in the room of one of the campers along with several articles
of clothing stolen from other campers. The incident was referred to
Upward Bound staff. No charges will be filed.
