Officers assisted investigators from another agency who were gathering
information involving an on-going investigation at 10:45 a. m. on 7/14.
Officers responded to Killian where a student was sick at 10:00 a. m.
They transported the student to Student Health.
Officers responded to Reynolds where several people were stuck in an
elevator at 10:52 a. m. Physical Plant workers had to be summoned to
extract the people.
Officers responded to an alarm at the Central Stores at 12:14 p. m. The
cause is unknown.
Officers investigated a traffic accident at Robertson at 1:45 p. m.
Jackson County Sheriff's Office requested that WCU officers check on
an alarm at the Cash Points machine at 2:31 p. m. Officers found no
cause for the alarm in the area.
Officers arrested a male non-student for possession of drug
paraphernalia following a traffic stop for speeding at 9:50 p. m. The
subject was also charged with exceeding a safe speed.
