On 8/15 at 6:30 p. m., officers arrested two male non-students on
charges of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, larceny, and damage
to personal property in connection with an incident which occurred at
Helder last week. Bond was set at $9000 for one and $4000 for the
other. Warrants are pending on one additional male non-students.
Officers cited a male student for displaying an expired registration plate
and a campus citation for speeding at 4:31 p. m. on 8/13.
Officers cited a male student for displaying an expired registration plate
after stopping the vehicle for not displaying a plate at 3:08 p. m. on 8/14.
Officers saw a male with a large knife protruding from a backpack near
Helder at 2:48 p. m. on 8/14. The subject was identified as a cook for
Aramark who brought his own knife set to work.
Officers found a state road sign in a room on the 4th floor of
Leatherwood at 7:45 p. m. on 8/15. The sign was confiscated.
Officers cited a male non-student for underage possession of alcohol at
8:14 p. m. on 8/15 near Benton.
Officers responded to a fire alarm at Coulter on 8/13/99 at 5:34 p. m.
caused by a bad detector head.
Officers impounded two vehicles on Sunday 8/15 for being left in loading
zones or in travel lanes.
Officers responded to an alarm at the Central Store at 10:00 a. m. on
8/15. The cause is unknown.
Officers investigated a hit & run traffic accident at 6:15 p. m. on 8/15 near
Helder.
