INCIDENTS

At 6:30 a. m., officers discovered that some had broken the wooden
barricades used to close Belk Drive.

At 7:20 a. m., a staff member reported that someone had damaged a
state-owned vehicle with a firearm while the vehicle was parked at the
Warehouse on the Old Cullowhee Road between 5:00 p. m. on 8/16 and
7:00 a. m. on 8/17.

At 8:00 a. m., the manager of Aramark reported that someone had broken
a window in their storage area. No entry to the area was gained. The
incident occurred between 8:00 p. m. on 8/16 and 8:00 a. m. on 8/17.

At 8:15 p. m., a student reported that a tire and rim had been stolen from
his bike which was parked at the rear of Benton. The victim later
discovered that a friend had taken the tire and rim as a prank.

At 2:15 p. m., a student reported that his microwave had been stolen from
the hallway outside his room in Leatherwood between 2:00 p. m. and
2:15 p. m. It was later discovered that a friend had moved it into another
room for safekeeping.

At 5:19 p. m., officers warned a female non-student about the rules
regarding dogs on the jogging trail.

At 5:28 p. m., officers investigated a traffic accident at Leatherwood.

At 10:00 p. m., officers referred a male student to Housing for follow-up
action after finding the student in possession of alcohol in the Albright
parking lot at 10:00 p. m.

At 10:16 p. m., officers cited a female student for underage possession
of alcohol after finding her carrying a beer in the stairwell of Helder.

At 10:19 p. m., officers responded to a fire alarm in Albright. The cause
is unknown.

At 10:46 p. m., officers cited a male student for underage possession of
alcohol after finding him in possession of a beer in the hallway of Helder.

At 10:27 p. m., officers referred an underage student to Housing for
follow-up action after finding him in possession of alcohol on the 3rd floor
of Albright.

At 10:29 p. m., officers referred three underage male students to Housing
for follow-up after finding them in possession of alcohol in Albright.

At 10:52 p. m., officers recovered a speed limit sign from a room on the
first floor of Leatherwood. The person who possessed the sign was
warned about the law regarding possession of DOT signs.

At midnight, officers referred four underage students, two males and two
females, to Housing for follow-up action after finding them on the 7th
floor of Scott Hall in possession of alcohol.

Officers assisted the staff of the Cyber Cafe in locking a door at 12:55 a.
m.

Officers assisted WestCare with an emergency call in University Heights
at 4:15 a. m.

SECURITY VIOLATIONS

Stillwell: Door #1f and greenhouse door ajar at 0039.
Dodson: Door #9a and 7 unlocked at 0130.
Belk: Door #16 unlocked at 0142.
