UNIVERSITY POLICE REPORTS: September 2, 1999

INCIDENTS

At 0935, officers responded to a complaint of a staff member
parking too close to another vehicle at the rear of McKee.

At 1240, officers served a male student with a magistrates
summons in Stillwell.

At 1425, responded to a fire alarm at 341 Stillwell.

At 1750, officers investigated a shrub fire adjacent to the rear
Scott parking lot closest to HFR. No vehicles were involved.
The Cullowhee Fire Department was called to the scene to
put out the fire.

At 1804, officers investigated an incident of a male student
drinking underage at the tailgating event.

At 1902, officers responded to a complaint from a female
student that a male student was harassing her. The officer
was unable to make contact with the male student. The
investigation continues.

At 1945, officers escorted an intoxicated male student from
the football stadium and transported him to his residence hall.
The student was left with a RA.

At 2017, officers encountered a very intoxicated female
student in the football stadium. She was escorted from the
stadium by her friend/roommate.

At 2120, officers took a mixed drink away from a female
student in the football stadium. She is being referred to
student development.

At 2135, officers responded to a report of a fight between
Leatherwood and Dodson. Upon arrival, officers found a group
of students who had been hollering back and forth at another
group of students who had left in a vehicle before the officers
arrived. No fight had taken place and the group was
counseled by the officers.

At 2230, officers responded to a request of a concerned
parent to investigate the circumstances of her daughter falling
of the back of a truck and receiving a minor head injury. The
student was contacted by officers and determined to be ok.

At 2249, officers responded to a complaint of a fight between
Belk and Leatherwood. The fight was allegedly between a
male and a female student. Upon investigation, the officers
were unable to locate either student and believe the female
lives off campus.

At 2303, officers investigated in incident in which students
were crawling through an open window in Harrill.

At 2306, officers responded to a report of a fight on the third
floor of Scott. They found a student there who refused
medical treatment and declined to prosecute anyone.

At 2330, officers observed a student in the UC with a beer.
The officers disposed of the alcohol and explained University
regulations to the student.

SECURITY VIOLATIONS

Stillwell door #1F ajar at 0038 hrs.
McKee door #4 unlocked at 0038 hrs.
