At 6:50 p. m. on 9/1, officers impounded a vehicle which was blocking
the roadway in front of Buchanan.
At 8:00 p. m. on 9/1, residents reported a male cutting trees near Brown
Cemetery. Officers discovered that the subject worked for the Methodist
Church and was clearing dead trees.
At 6:30 p. m. on 9/2, officers counseled two students who were having a
personal conflict in Harrill. The incident is referred to Housing.
At 10:48 p. m on 9/2, officers responded to a fight between a male and a
female at Leatherwood Hall. After investigation, it is believed that the
male was attempting to keep the female from driving intoxicated.
At 11:02 p. m. on 9/2, officers responded to a report of intoxicated males
in a car near Leatherwood, asked the subjects to exit the vehicle and
return to their room.
Officers investigated an incident where a male was assaulted by a friend
who was intoxicated at 11:06 p. m. on 9/2. The victim did not wish to
pursue the matter.
At 3:12 p. m. on 9/3, staff in the Fitness Center reported $20 stolen from
the petty cash fund in a desk in the center. The incident occurred
between 8/20 and 8/23.
At 7:20 p. m. on 9/3, officers stopped a vehicle operated by a female and
warned her for having marijuana seeds in the car and a BB gun.
Housing staff turned in a kit for growing mushrooms which was found in
ceiling tiles in a room on the 3rd floor of Leatherwood apparently left
there by former residents at 8:33 p. m. on 9/3.
At 9:00 p. m. on 9/3, officers referred a student to Housing for an alcohol
violation in Harrill.
At 11:22 p. m. on 9/3, officers checked the fire alarm system at the
Outreach Center at the request of the steam plant operator.
At 12:06 a. m on 9/4, officers responded to a fire alarm at the Print Shop
caused by system trouble.
At 1:15 p. m. on 9/4, a female student reported that her car was damaged
while it was parked in the field house lot between 9/2 and 9/4.
At 6:30 p. m on 9/4, officers cited a male student in Harrill for underage
possession of alcohol and cited a male visitor with possession of a fake
drivers' license.
At 2:10 a. m. on 9/5, Housing staff reported water on the floors of teh
north wing of Leatherwood.
At 6:44 p. m. on 9/5, officers cited a male student for failing to stop at a
stop sign.
At 9:30 p. m. on 9/5, a female student from Walker reported that her
wallet was stolen after she left it outside the building.
At 9:52 p. m. on 9/5, officers cited a male student for failing to stop at a
stop sign.
At 10:30 p. m. on 9/5, officers referred a male student from Harrill to
Housing for underage possession of alcohol.
Officers arrested a male student in Harrill on charges of possession of
marijuana and possession of paraphernalia on 9/5/99 at 10:44 p. m.
At 11:20 p. m. on 9/5, officers responded to a fire alarm in Harill caused
by cigarette smoke in the hallway.
At 3:28 a. m on 9/6, officers responded to a disturbance in Scott and
banned a male former student from campus for being intoxicated and
fighting.
At 8:47 a. m. on 9/6, officers responded to a fire alarm in Scott caused by
malfunction in the sprinkler system.
At 7:30 p. m. on 9/6, officers responded to a fire alarm at the Ramsey
Center on the northeast concourse. The cause is unknown.
At 8:30 p. m. on 9/6, officers cited a male student for underage
possession of alcohol and possession of a fictitious drivers' license in
connection with an incident which occurred at the WCU football game on
9/3.
At 9:31 p. m. on 9/6, a male student reported that his car was damaged
while it was parked in the field house lot between 9/3 and 9/6.
At 11:40 p. m. on 9/6, a female in Helder reported receiving suspicious
e-mail messages.
At 11:50 p. m. on 9/6, officers referred two students to Student Affairs
for throwing fireworks from a vehicle in the Walker A lot.
