University Police Reports: September 9, 1999

INCIDENTS

At 1700, officers investigated a report that Buzzard's
Roost was blocked with a chain and No Trespassing sign.
Apparently, a private resident near the end of the street
erected the cable on privately owned property to prevent
traffic to driving across private property.

At 1803, officers responded to a report of subject
soliciting magazine subscriptions in Walker. Officers spoke
to the complainant but was unable to locate the subject.

At 2102, officers responded to a report of strange odor on
the 7th floor of Scott. Officers investigated the area but
were unable to detect any unusual odors.

At 2256, officers investigated a report of strange odor on
the 7th floor of Harrill. Subjects were found burning
incense. The RA was present for the investigation and will
handle same.

At 0125, officers investigated a report of a loud noise on
the 3rd floor of Benton but were unable to locate anything
out of the ordinary.

At 0415, officers responded to a domestic situation on the
2nd floor of Helder. Officers escorted two male
non-resident students off campus to their residence.
