University Police Reports: September 21, 1999

INCIDENTS

At 2:05 a. m. on 9/19, officers assisted a female student in Helder who
was receiving harassing phone calls.

At 11:15 a. m. officers investigated a traffic accident in the Field House
lot.

At 1:30 p. m. on 9/20, an employee at the University Center reported
vandalism to an art object. The investigation is continuing.

At 9:45 p. m., officers responded to a report of the odor of marijuana on
the 6th floor of Walker. Officers detected the odor but were unable to
identify the source.

At 5:45 p. m., an employee reported potential problems with a student in
the Administration Building.

At 6:52 p. m., a local resident reported a vehicle driving recklessly and
littering on Central Drive which came onto campus. Officers located the
vehicle and counseled the driver.

At 8:04 p. m., the Communications Center operator reported two males
entering and leaving the Mountain Heritage Center. Officers found that
they were working with the director of the Center and he was on the
premises.

At 10:21 p. m., Housing staff reported the odor of marijuana on the 3rd
floor of Walker. Officers detected the odor, but could not identify the
source.

At 11:20 p. m., officers assisted Jackson County deputies who were
trying to find Housing for a female who was sleeping in her car at
WalMart. The female had identified herself as a student: however, it was
found that she was not.
