At 8:23 a. m. on 10/14, officers interviewed a hitch hiker at the main
entrance who was acting suspiciously. He was identified and released.
At 8:00 a. m. on 10/15, officers discovered that a tire on the band's utility
truck had been vandalized.
At 8:15 a. m. on 10/15, officers investigated at traffic accident at the
track.
At 12:05 p. m. on 101/5, a female student in Reynolds reported that
someone had entered her room without authorization and trashed the
room.
At 4:20 p. m. on 10/15, officers investigated a report of fireworks being
thrown from Benton Hall.
At 4:32 p. m. on 10/15, officers responded to a fire alarm at Reid Gym.
The cause is unknown since employees reset the alarm before officers
arrived.
At 5:25 p. m. on 10/15, a student reported that someone had stolen his
portable cd player and a compact disk from his vehicle while it was
parked in the Baptist Church lot between 5:30 p. m. and 7:50 p. m. on
10/14.
At 9:26 p. m. on 10/15, officers responded to a fire alarm at the OSU.
The cause is within the system.
At 11:20 a. m. on 10/16, officers investigated a reported that an alcoholic
beverage had been added to a container at the Food Court in the
University Center.
At 12:12 a. m. on 10/16, officers checked an incomplete 911 call from a
room in Benton and found no one home there.
At 12:20 a. m. on 10/16, officers discovered that the gate at the picnic
area was damaged.
At 1:35 a. m. on 10/16, officers arrested a male non-student for
possession of a fire arm on campus, carrying a concealed weapon, DWI,
speeding, and driving left of center. The subject had been seen leaving
the University Center, urinating in the Coulter lot, and then driving
erratically. He had a .22 caliber handgun in his belt.
At 3:15 a. m. on 10/16, officers responded to a fire alarm in Albright
caused by fireworks.
At 4:30 p. m. on 10/16, officers removed a bat from the stadium during
the WCU/Wofford football game.
At 6:10 p. m. on 10/16, officers transported a dog to the Animal Shelter
after finding it inside the stadium during the WCU/Wofford football game.
At 8:00 p. m. on 10/16, officers responded to a report of the odor of
marijuana in Scott and referred one female student to Housing for an
alcohol violation. The source of the odor could not be located.
At 9:25 p. m. on 10/16, officers responded to a fire alarm at the OSU
caused by system problems.
At 1:30 a. m. on 10/17, officers assisted students who were stuck in an
elevator in Walker.
At 4:25 p. m. on 10/17, officers investigated a traffic accident in the
Brown staff lot.
At 6:44 p. m. on 10/17, officers responded to a fire alarm on the 4th floor
of Scott caused by someone setting a paper notice on fire near the
elevator.
At 9:27 p. m. on 10/7, officers responded to a fire alarm at the OSU
caused by system problems.
