At 2:30 a. m. on 11/4, officers responded to a report from housekeepers
in Coulter of noises in the building, but officers could not locate anyone
there.
At 7:18 a. m., officers discovered an alarm sounding in the trash chute at
Harrill, but found no fire there.
At 8:00 a. m., a student reported that someone had keyed her car while it
was parked between Dodson and Helder between 8:30 a. m. on 11/3 and
8:00 a. m. today.
At 10:20 a. m., officers assisted Housing staff with a student who had
withdrawn in October but was still living in the residence hall.
At 1:30 p. m., a student reported that her car was damaged by a hit & run
vehicle between 3:00 p. m. on 11/2 and 1:30 p. m. today while it was
parked near Scott.
At 1:45 p. m., a student reported that a mirror was knocked off his vehicle
while it was parked behind Harrill between 11:00 p. m. on 11/3 and 8:50
a. m. on 11/4. The damage was possibly done by a hit & run vehicle.
At 3:10 p. m., a faculty member reported the theft of two baseball cards
from an office in Reid which occurred between 10:00 a. m. on 11/2 and
5:00 p. m. on 11/3. The cards are valued at $210.
At 5:00 p. m., officers responded to an activated call box at the Ramsey
Center and found no one in the area.
At 11:26 p. m. officers responded to a report from Housing of the odor of
marijuana on the 3rd floor of Scott and detected a faint odor but could not
identify the source.
At 12:14 a. m., officers responded to a report of the odor of marijuana on
the 7th floor of Scott and checked several floors but detected no odor.
At 2:15 a. m., officers assisted Jackson County deputies who had
stopped three male students who were stealing wooden pallets from
behind Ingles'. The stop was made in the track lot. Ingles' managers
decided not to prosecute.
At 3:28 a. m., a female student was transported to Harris Regional for
treatment of an unknown ailment which possibly involved the ingestment
of some type of drug. The investigation is continuing.
