University Police Reports: November 29, 1999

INCIDENTS

At 8:44 a. m., a male student reported the theft of a VCR, clothing, and
prescription drugs from his vehicle which was parked near Hunter
Library between 11/28 and 11/29.

At 10:30 a. m., officers investigated a traffic accident in the McKee
parking lot.

At noon, an employee reported that someone had cut a tire on a truck at
the Recycling Center at the end of the Old Warehouse lot between 11/28
and 11/29.

At 3:07 p. m., officers interviewed a male student who admitted that he
had put shaving cream and powder on a friend's car who reported the
vandalism last week. He offered to apologize for the practical joke.

At 12:30 p. m., a student reported that someone had caused a dent in his
car while it was parked in the Helder lot between 5:00 p. m. on 11/28 and
10:00 a. m. on 11/29.

At 1:05 p. m., officers arrested a male student for larceny. He was found
in possession of a stolen CatCard and admitted using the card once and
attempting to use the card a second time.

At 4:00 p. m., a faculty member reported that someone that someone had
taken money from a student club account without authorization between
December of 1998 and today. A suspect has been identified and
charges are pending.

At 7:57 p. m. on 11/29, officers investigated the report of narcotics in a
room on the third floor of Reynolds Hall. No narcotics were found.
