At 3:10 p. m., officers responded to a fire alarm at Helder Hall and found
that the system was being tested.
At 3:30 p. m., a non-student reported that his wheel had been damaged
and his tire punctured while he was on campus between 3:30 a. m. and
1:30 p. m. in the Watertower lot.
At 4:47 p. m., a faculty member reported the odor of smoke in Stillwell.
Officers and Physical Plant employees detected the burning odor but
could not locate the source.
At 4:49 p. m., an unidentified person reported a vehicle driving recklessly
at Centennial and Central. Officers could not locate the vehicle.
At 7:08 p. m., a lab monitor in Belk reported a disorderly student. Officers
counseled the student about his behavior.
At 8:31 p. m., a student reported that someone had broken into his room
on the first floor of Harrill through his window and stolen $120. The
incident occurred between 5:30 p. m. and 7:30 p. m. Witnesses saw
three males near the window and one was removing the screen. Police
are seeking other witnesses and information on the identity of the
suspects.
At 9:05 p. m., officers responded to a fire alarm at the Old Student Union
caused by system trouble.
At 2:45 a. m., officers assisted Housing staff with a male who was
intoxicated and passed out in the lobby of Benton.
At 2:51 a. m., officers responded to Walker where Housing staff reported
that three male students were causing a disturbance. Officers spoke to
the students and settled the situation. The incident is referred to Housing.
