At 1656 hrs., the tamper alert on the Walker A lot call box
was activated. Upon investigation, officers determined that
a male student accidentally backed into the box without
realizing it. The box is now in need of minor repair.
At 1852 hrs., officers charged two male students in Walker
with under age possession of alcohol.
At 2342 hrs., officers assisted the Highway Patrol with an
accident which occurred on NCCAT Drive in which a
vehicle driven by a male NCSU student left the road and
overturned. There was a male passenger in the vehicle who
is a WCU student. The driver was transported via
helicopter to Asheville. The passenger's injuries were not
as serious. Both subjects are believed to have been
drinking.
At 0301 hrs., officers investigated a fire alarm activation in
Walker. A witness heard someone pull the alarm but did
not see who it was.
