If this story is correct in statistics, it looks like there are anywhere from 60% to 250% more A's given now than several decades ago at the two main schools mentioned.
I don't know WCU statistics, but it might be interesting to find out. Are students today so much better prepared for college work, or so much more willing to work hard than students when you were in college? Many faculty seem to say that does not seem to be the case in their experience.
What are we to make of it and what are we to do?
