Information from the NLR NOC has been slow in coming concerning the
instability we saw last Friday. The instability to NLR lasted about 20
minutes. The problem was resolved Friday August 4, at 3:56 pm. We have
just received word that the problem originated from a layer 2 routing
loop. NLR engineers were bring up a new connections that set off a
spanning tree recalculations problem on the switches along the Southern
Light Rail segment up and down the east coast. If you have any questions
let us know. We apologize of any problem this may have caused. If you
have any questions please let us know.
Thanks
